Start consciously creating NOW

Do you feel right now in this moment that you are stuck, or just struggling to survive? Does life seen to JUST HAPPEN to you? I get where you are sitting. I understand. And I am about to go into coaching mode.......deep breath everyone..... I've been there when I almost lost my house. I kept telling myself "my dreams are bigger than my house" and prayed the Universe would step up because I was in action. I declared exactly what I wanted. Just when I almost started doubting... everything came together. THAT'S what you should do. Just start believing. Then take steps towards that. Yes, its scary and you don't have the answers. That is how it is supposed to work. Trust and Faith isn't activated until you take action. If you want things to change......then declare it. Don't get stuck in the energy of...... I don't know HOW.... that is what holds 99% of the world back. If you were my client I would tell you to get out a piece of paper and write out a manifestations list around this. What IS your ideal? Sometimes we forget we have the power. Stop letting "life happen" and move into "consciously creating." If you want something you've never had , you have to do something you've never done. I am telling you what my steps were. I do get it. I understand. There is a totally different way successful people think and act. I work with them. I am becoming one. So..... I'm not saying give up on your current life. I am saying start with declaring what you want. Sit down and write out what your perfect life would look like. Without the fear of money, without all the limitations that are flooding your mind. That all comes together somehow magically when you take the steps to get you there . Why am I sharing this? Because I know where you're sitting and I know what it takes. Thinns didn't just happen or fall into my lap without taking the steps to create it so. You have to think differently and do things differently or life will continue to "just happen". I had to get REALLY good at getting out of victim mode and into victor mode. As soon as I took responsibility for the life that was in front of me was the very second I could change it. I had to stop being in the problem and find the solution. I am an expert problem solver now. So now you have a choice. Will you fall victim to life just happening or will stake claim on your life & consciously create?

The Problem With Belief

What do you believe and where do your beliefs come from?  How many of your beliefs are on the conscious level and how many are you walking around with at the subconscious level?

Most people spend years building a set of beliefs that they will defend against all logic.  As children we are fully indoctrinated into whatever set of beliefs our parents deem appropriate for us including religious doctrine.  Our schools teach us about following rules, citizenship and and patriotism.  Even our work places have a "company culture"; another set of beliefs to adopt if you wish to succeed.

So what do YOU believe?  As we go through our teens and early adult years, we make decisions around what we have been taught and what we choose for ourselves.  We are also walking around making decisions based on what we subconsciously believe about ourselves.  If our learning style didn't adapt well to school, we may walk around thinking we aren't smart enough to go to college or apply for that challenging job.  If our parents were poor, we often subconsciously believe that it is our destiny or lot in life to also be poor.  If we were constantly scolded or belittled by our parents, we most certainly came to believe at the conscious and subconscious levels that we are in fact flawed and "not good enough."

Personally, I have spent the majority of my adult life attempting to shed all of the limiting beliefs that I picked up in my early years.  I grew up in a family of five children.  I was the second child, the first daughter.  My mother, a polio survivor, believed that girls are "hard" and boys are "easy"(something her mother believed).  Being the first daughter, it was my job to prove her right ;)   I constantly overheard my mother telling anyone who would listen about how "whatever you tell her not to do, that's exactly what she has to do".   I truly believed that I was a pretty terrible kid!  Despite my deficiencies... I managed to do well in school and contrary to my home life, I had the reputation of being a very straight-laced good kid.

I remember when I was about 8 or 9, I received a "career game" for little girls.  Of course the choices were: teacher, nurse, flight attendant, fashion model, actress or ballerina.  I took this decision to heart, what would I be?  After much soul searching, I proudly announced to my mom that I was going to be nurse when I grew up.  She quickly dismissed the idea stating that nurses work terrible hours.  There's no way I could have a family and work that kind of job!

Fast forward, at eleven I wanted to be a gemologist (by the time you grow up, people won't have enough money to buy jewelry), at fourteen, an interior designer (the wrong kind of people work in that field).......seventeen, sigh... I guess I'm just going to get married and have kids.

Fast forward again, yes, I got married and had kids... like I believed I should.  For several years I tried to persuade myself that being a stay home mom (like my mom) was the way to go... but it just wasn't enough for me.   I went back to school and began my first career as a teacher (it was on the list, right?).  I am now on my fifth career, definitely won't be my last as I am learning more and more about who I am as I let go of all of those beliefs about who I am supposed to be.

Beliefs,  how they limit us!  I have come to the point in my life that I am hesitant to claim a belief about anything.  Why?  Because for every belief we choose to align ourselves with, other possibilities die.   Every day I learn new things because I am open to all that there is to know.  I have new experiences... things I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined just a few years ago.  More to come?  I hope so!  I hope that I never come to the place in life where I believe that I have it all figured out.  What fun would that be?

Looking Forward to 2015

The end of 2014 brings us to revisit what the potentials were at the beginning of the year. “Blueprints” being the key word for this past year. We were tasked with the planning and building of our future abode. There were loads of supporting Universal energies, many which blew our plans in different directions helping us to qualify what we truly wanted for ourselves. Sometimes we took a step thinking “this is the direction my heart is telling me to go” only to find Universal energies prompting us in what seemed dichotomous directions. Rounding out the year we may have found ourselves in a totally different space than we had planned for ourselves back in the early months of 2014 having been buffeted by changes. By any means, EVERY one is exactly where they need to be, more solidly ready for the next phase coming upon us in 2015.

The first quarter is asking us to examine ourselves and our desires to find where our alignments are. It is coming with an acute awareness available to ‘feel’ those alignments as a sensitivity to ourselves. In this awareness we are shown there is nothing to fear therefore there is nothing in the way of our creation of what life would be for us this year. We are asked to examine our minds through our beliefs and habits, to get rid of that which does not serve us and consciously ask the Universal energies to bring what does without inserting our limited thoughts and beliefs about how this is to show up for us, because in the limiting of that picture we limit the potentials of that energy.

The key words for the remainder of the year is “Potential in Action” and that is limitless, through the acute awareness that we intentionally ask for and of ourselves. The fruit of our many long years of labor are at hand. The tree of life is ripe with plump, juicy morsels of potential come to life. The “in Action” part means it is not meant to be hoarded but rather to USE, to LIVE, to BITE into it with relish. This fruit is not a ‘reward’ for being a seeker on the journey, it is not the end so now we sit and gorge ourselves on the fruits. No, indeed it is the food of our future endeavors. The sustenance we require for living a full earthly and human life woven in joys and miracles that become normal everyday expectations.

One more statement on fear, worry, disappointment etc. They will happen, they are part of life…the joys and miracles happen despite them based on how tied you are to these emotions, how tied to the outcomes that these emotions are entwined with. These emotions are like vines, they can take hold like an English ivy where you can allow them to take over and go wild. You can choose to shape and control them so they add to the beauty of your house. OR you can cut them down, maybe have a landscaper come and plant an altogether different vine or plant. If you keep an eye on a vine and where it grows you can gently untangle it from where it naturally chooses to grow or you can pluck it from its roots… YOU get to choose how it is allowed to take form in your life.

Getting Unstickty-Stuck from the Muckity-Muck

You know you’re in it… you know you don’t want to… you hear those “enlightened ones” say “choose a better feeling thought” and then you feel those middle fingers spring into action… ARGHHHHH!

Do not pass GO, do not collect $200 but congratulations… You are living a human experience!  You are stuck in the muck!

I am not one to put a band aide on my hurt feelings and pretend they don’t exist.  There are times choosing a better feeling thought just pisses me off even more.  Why?  Because it just dodges and pushes aside whatever got you there to begin with.  Is there something that needs to be said, written down, released or acknowledged?  Is there an action you need to take, a step in the direction you want to go, any direction??  Sometimes the easiest step is just saying out loud  (or in your head) what’s on your mind to bring it to the surface to release.

Recently at the theatre where I work, I had to deal with a woman under the influence during a show.  She wasn’t “fall down drunk” but to the point where her edit button wasn’t working.  She knew she was beyond tipsy but it didn’t matter… she wanted to get her “buzz” on and proceeded to ask several staff members if they had some weed she could buy (I’m not kidding).  She finally came up to me standing next to a security guard to ask if we had any weed.  I kept thinking this has got to be one of the strangest experiences I’d ever had.  When we delivered the bad news that in fact, no one could help her obtain what she wanted, she stuck out her lip in a pouty-face, got down on her knees and said in a little girl voice, “Grumble, grumble, grumble, grumble, grumble!”  The security guard and I turned to each other with a “you’ve got to be kidding me” look and did everything we could not to bust out laughing.  We eventually talked her into returning to her seat with the rest of her party.

As ridiculous as that behavior was, I started to think that woman was onto something.  Over the next week, the “pouty grumbles” followed by a laugh became my mantra whenever I had to deal with something uncomfortable.  It was a way to voice my displeasure in a non-threatening, humorous way and get the energy moving.   We did a lot of laughing that week.  It wasn’t a band aide but an acknowledgment that something needed to change…. even though I may not have had the answer in the moment.  Moving that energy with a grumble was the first step in loosening myself from the muck.

You may not have as much leeway in your job or situation as I do, nor am I suggesting you grumble at your boss, but the key here is to acknowledge where you are and accept that moment. We all have something that works to get the energy moving in a difficult or uncomfortable situation.  Perhaps as simple as a deep breathe followed by a sigh… Please share additional ways to get the energy flowing that have worked for you in the past.

A Rocket Powered Ark

My dreams involve lots and lots of travel.  And of course … lots and lots of animals.  I won’t have animals only to leave them at home. That would just be cruel.  I’d have to have an ark, so they could all come with me.  Then, I want to get places quickly, so it would have to be rocket powered.

Impossible? No … Improbable at this point in time.  Who is to say if this will be more likely ten to twenty years in the future.

Why don’t I have this now?  I’ve taken the courses, practiced the focusing, visualizing, and affirmations.  Where is the abundance, more particularly, financial abundance?  Have I kept up with the gratitude and acting as if it has already happened?  Have I truly believed that I have this abundance?  Is there something else in my way?

There actually has been something else in my way at times …. Doubts!    Doubts derail forward progress if you give them any attention at all.  They are the subtle thoughts of negativity that takes the wind from our wings and settles our rocket powered ark on earth instead of soaring through the heavens as we all should.

How do we combat doubts?  The first and biggest step would be to eliminate all the causes of abundance negativity from your conscious and subconscious mind.  This helps battle the habit of doubts.  Next, every time a doubt raises its head, refocus on your dream.  Refocus until the doubt is the surprising visitor and not your second spouse.  Refocus until the person who believed the lie of that doubt is no longer who you really are.

I’ll tell you a secret.  The person who believed in that doubt was never who you really are.  Why?  Because who you really are, is a child of the stars awakening to your true being and your true self has unlimited abundance.

How do you become the self of the stars and awaken who you truly are?  This is the journey of your lifetime.  How you get there is the path you pave through your choices – both those that are conscious and unconscious.  Consider the questions below.  When I first looked at them, I felt a lot of resistance.  Why?  Simply, I didn’t know the answers.  Do you?

What have you done?
Where do you sit today and where do you want to be tomorrow, next year, five years from now?
What can you do to make that come to life?

Money Madness is not a Curse

If you haven't read the "About Us" page, here's where you'll find out what brought us together as the Sweet Soul Sisterhood and far more than that as time goes along! Let's get this conversation going, because the intention behind the blog is for it to become a dialogue. You are invited to comment, question and write your own opinions or views on the subjects that we will raise here.

We all met through a larger group of people who had chosen to take part in a class offered through an online summit. We made LOTS of friends of like mind and have many of these connections in common. Somehow, through what? Fate...kismet...serendipity...the universe's incredible ways of working??? It took a simple conversation about the Powerball Lottery to corral this specific grouping of souls together. We *thought* we were getting a pool together for the lottery, at least that was the carrot that was dangled in front of us. I can hear Creation laughing in glee, if it had a body, it would be rubbing its palms together!

Yes, it was never about the lottery (or the money madness) but source often works in ways that are acceptable and delicious to our human, frequently self-centered, tendencies to get us to comply. Time and again, it's a tragedy that brings people to source (God) and towards change. Most people don't voluntarily choose change, we usually feel quite safe right where we are. Yet in order for change to happen, a little shake up is generally needed as a catalyst. In this case, since we had all been in the process of choosing ease and grace, a fun common denominator was presented. Why not a fun shake up? What's more fun than envisioning what a lottery win could do for us?

We have led ourselves into greater goals that include our place in humanity. Through our nearly daily interactions with one another for well over a year, we have discovered how our uniqueness and high frequencies increase exponentially when we work together. We have witnessed how the active merging of our intuitive modalities have interacted as if in a vibrational dance. We have helped each other in unfathomable ways.

We became certain that we were going to come together, at first thought...physically, when the money arrived. However, through the months of conversations and working together through our life's challenges, testing our knowledge and skills with one another, we find our gifts work perfectly well from where we are, spread around the globe.

When the idea to collectively work together arose, it seemed like the next logical step for us to take. We know that every individual resonates with different frequencies, different modalities, different teachers and healers. Together, we are more than just what we individually know, we can bring this together in a unique yet approachable way and we feel this is part of being pioneers in the unveiling of Self. When people realize who they truly are and the potential they have to create their life by design, no matter what stage or state of life they are in, they open to the infinite wisdom and possibility or source. Life can and WILL become miraculous!
